Many alumni of the TUM: Junge Akademie or external members in mid-level faculty positions at the Technical University of Munich are involved as tutors – often motivated by the satisfaction that comes from being able to help the students, who are ambitious and interesting personalities. For the tutors, it is an exciting task to develop a project together with an interdisciplinary team. The tutors are able to share their experiences, provide assistance for extraordinary challenges and help the students along with hints and advice.
Of course, the tutors are also able to gather new experiences. For example, they will learn how to best motivate and support a team without restricting the freedom of development of the students. All in all, this is an exciting activity – and you can look forward to the results of your group.
