For some time, we have been trying to find a canteen partner for a collaboration to conduct a real-world intervention study. Our goal was to investigate how changing the availability of plant-based dishes affects their consumption.
While we are still exploring the same research question, we have adjusted our methodology. Instead of a field study, we are now using a speeded forced-choice task.
How will this work?
Participants will be shown several meal options and asked to quickly select the one they would choose to buy. The proportion of plant-based dishes available will vary, allowing us to examine the central question: How does availability affect food choices?
