EatMe, I'm low carbon!

Analysis of the dissemination od the term "ecological footprint" and its influence on decision making when purchasing groceries

EatMe at "acatech am Dienstag"!

We are happy to announce that we are planning an event in cooperation with acatech. In this context, we will have the opportunity to discuss changes in the food industry with Prof. Hofmann, main coordinator of the project FoodConnects which is being funded with up to 400 Mio. Euro by the EIT. Additionally we are looking forward to present the first prototype of our project work. The event is going to take place on Tuesday, July 18th in the evening at acatech's site at the Karolinenplatz. We would be pleased to see some of you there. Stay tuned for further information about registration on this site.

Our Goal

The first goal of our project consists of achieving a better understanding of the dissemination of the term "ecological footprint" and its influence on consumers' deciosion-making when grocery-shopping. To this end, we conduct a survey that will hopefully shed light on those aspects. Based on the results we will look for ways to further disseminate knowledge about the concept and/or improve the supply of related information. We are doing all this, because or thesis is: "Better informed consumers will choose their food more consciusly."
