On Saturday, 27th of June 2015 at 4 p.m., the third TUM Campus Run was held in Garching, in which all students, doctoral students, staff and alumni of all TUM faculties and departments were warmly invited to participate. The run, with a distance of approximately 5.3 km, began in front of the IAS, led across the whole campus - along the Isar and over fields and finally ended in front of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The winners were awarded on the stage of the GARNIX festival by the TUM’s president Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Wolfgang A. Herrmann and the first mayor of the university town of Garching, Dr. Dietmar Gruchmann.
The 3rd Campus Run was organized within the programme of the GARNIX-Festival by the Student Council of Engineering in cooperation with the TUM: Junge Akademie.
